I have created this blog to document my journey on losing my baby weight. And to have a diary of my self rejuvenation. To become a refreshed healthier me, like I once was a little over 18 months ago.

Week One

Today is day 9 of my weight loss. The first week is down and I already feel better. It's been an easy week for the most part. When you are watching what you eat, it does make you feel more hungry. I guess because you are concentrating so much on what your eating, food is constantly on your mind. Before this week, I would go until supper without having a meal. I would snack on something, maybe and drink 2-3 cans of pop in a day. Now, I am eating a bowl of cereal for breakfast. Then for lunch I am drinking a Slim Fast Optima or eating a bowl of soup, such as chicken noodle or vegetable. Which is low in calories and low in fat. For a snack I love having a grapefruit with splenda sprinkled on top. Along with that I am walking on the treadmill for 1 mile. I am doing the mile in 18 minutes now, started out in 20 minutes. Eventually I would like to get to a 15 minute mile. I do this Monday-Friday. I am also doing more housework just to increase my activity level. I started Yoga today. As well as running up my basement stairs in reps of 5, 3 times a day. I have added a weight tracker on my page, although I am embarrassed by the numbers, it is proof of my accomplishments. Below will be my beginning measurements and where I stand today. I have already made improvements. And it is definetly motivating me to keep going strong. I hope anyone reading this that is in need of losing weight, that you get up and start. It's amazing how much better you can feel. I don't know if I will reach my goal weight when it's said and done, but I am going to give it my all. Good Luck and Best Wishes.
